Whether you’re applying to a one-year professional diploma program, a four-year bachelors program or a six-year graduate doctorate program, you’ll need to go through the college admissions process – selecting schools that match your requirements, and providing them with the forms and other materials that help them to decide whether or not you are qualified to enroll.
At some colleges and universities, applications will be complicated and involved; at others, they will be simple and straightforward. Similarly, college admissions will be very competitive at some colleges and universities; at others, any student who meets certain baseline requirements will be offered the chance to attend.
