La’Toya Malone

What is your favorite thing about your job? My favorite thing about my job is being able to advocate for my students, motivate and help them tackle any barriers, and overcome obstacles so they can achieve their goals.

What advice would you give someone thinking about going back to school? I would tell them to make sure they change their mindset, so they can focus on being successful in school, remember to ask questions, and put forth their best effort.

If you could meet any person, who would you choose and why? I would want to meet Prince because he was a musical genius. He had an incredible way of thinking. Throughout his career he managed to be very self-disciplined while achieving his goals as he produced music and wrote songs for many artists in the industry.

If you could be any animal what would you be? I would be a panther because not only are they beautifully created, but they move with grace and are very clever and swift with each move they make.

Andrew Neylon

What is your favorite thing about your job? My favorite part of working at myFootpath is being able to directly help students achieve their goals. Working through the process of returning to school is different for every student, but I truly enjoy hearing the satisfaction in their voices when they are able to put all the pieces together and celebrate a return to finish a degree or pursue a new one.

What motivates you? I love learning and growing every day, so that’s my primary motivation. Learning more about the students I work with and how to help them more effectively definitely keeps me going.

If you could meet any person who would you choose and why? I’d love to have met musician David Bowie. I’m a huge fan of his music and other artistic contributions and have been a big fan since I was a child. I’d love to hear some of his tour stories!

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you choose? I would choose ramen! It’s a meal I never get tired of and has a lot of variety in how it can be prepared.

Email Marketing Specialist

Kevin Zapinski

What is your favorite thing about your job? I have always enjoyed helping people, and this job gives me an opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. Seeing students complete the entire journey from just getting started with the enrollment process all the way through graduation is very rewarding.

Why is education important? Education provides the opportunity to learn new things. I have always believed that if you are not moving forward, you are moving backward. Education gives you a chance to keep moving forward and help you become the best version of yourself.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about going back to school? It is never too late to go back to school. Take stock in your goals and motivations to figure out the pace for your own journey. Whether you are going back to finish a degree or just getting started, there are so many resources out there to help you.

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be? Pizza because I never get tired of eating it plus it is kind of cheating. There is such a wide variety of different flavor combinations and styles I could go a very long time without repeating an order.
