What is your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job is the ability to make a meaningful impact on educational systems, institutions, and ultimately, the lives of students. I enjoy analyzing challenges, designing innovative solutions along with collaborating with educators and administrators to improve learning outcomes for students.
What motivates you?
I am motivated by the impact education has on transforming lives. Knowing that my work directly influences students’ opportunities to help shape their future, keeps me passionate and driven. Additionally, I enjoy the dynamic nature of enrollment management with adapting to changing demographics, technologies, and educational trends. This challenges me to innovate and continuously improve our strategies to better serve students.
If you could meet any person who would you choose and why?
If I could meet any person, I would choose Malala Yousafzai. Her courageous advocacy for youth in education while facing extreme adversity is profoundly inspiring. Meeting her would provide deep insights into the challenges and opportunities within global education equity.

What is your favorite thing about your job?
I love the problem-solving and collaboration involved when working with my students. We both have our goals, and we both come together to make things happen. Getting to the next step is that much easier when we are engaged and inspired. Knowing that what I do helps students stay engaged and informed is very important to me.
What motivates you?
What motivates me are the students. Their devotion and passion to dedicate themselves to their educational pursuits gives me that extra boost throughout my day. Our hard work is worth it, no matter how “small” it may seem in the moment. What might seem “small” to one person can leave a great impact on another. Just knowing what I can do, and what my students accomplish each and every day is a great inspiration.
Why is education important?
Education enables us to understand the world and the people around us. Education unlocks a plethora of possibilities and endless inspiration for all minds, young and old. Education and experience can allow everyone to excel in their career pursuits.
If you could meet any person, who would you choose and why?
If I had the chance, I would love to have met Mary Oliver. I enjoy her poetry; it is inspirational, positive, and full of imagery. Having a conversation with someone like her would have been amazing.

What is your favorite thing about your job?
Connecting with my students! Our job is to have empathy and help. Education is elevation, so we’re changing lives.
What motivates you?
Knowing that I’m making someone’s day a little easier. Students are stressed out enough, and going to school is hard enough; they don’t need the registration process to be a part of that. It takes away from their experience. So knowing I’m making things easier for a student is the best motivator!
Why is education important?
Education is about growing yourself as much as it is about pursuing your career. Through education, you learn to see the bigger picture. You can make those small connections that allow you to see the world clearly.
If you could meet any person, who would you choose and why?
I’d love to meet Jean-Michel Basquiat! He was an amazing artist with a brilliant mind for the creative and I would love to understand how he saw the world.
