Prior to joining myFootpath, Johnson held significant roles in the higher education technology sector.

At PLEXUSS, he served as Vice President of Business Development, where he developed long-lasting relationships with higher education partners and post-secondary institutions helping the company realize an increase in the number of clients and revenue of over 50%.

Before that, he was Vice President of Strategic Relationships at Greenwood Hall, where he played a key role in transforming the company into a leading technology services provider, enabling colleges and universities to generate nearly $300 million in tuition and serve over 1.5 million students .

Earlier in his career, Johnson co-founded and served as Vice President of Business Development at enCircle Media (later known as US Interactive Media), a higher education digital marketing agency that achieved revenues exceeding $20 million in three years before its sale in 2010.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is married with four children and enjoys spending time at the beach, golfing, and having movie nights with his family .
